Job Terms Policy
1. Introduction
This Job Terms Policy outlines the conditions governing all job assignments facilitated by MM Staffing Services Inc. (“Company”, “MM Staffing”, “we”, “our”).
By accepting a job assignment through MM Staffing, the worker (“Employee”) agrees to comply with the terms outlined below.
2. Employment Relationship
All individuals placed on assignments are employees of MM Staffing Services Inc., unless otherwise stated in writing.
The Client company is responsible for:
- Day-to-day supervision
- Work direction and task assignment
MM Staffing remains responsible for employment administration.
3. Assignment Acceptance
By accepting an assignment, the Employee agrees to:
- Report to work as scheduled
- Perform duties professionally and competently
- Follow all workplace policies and instructions
Failure to meet these expectations may result in removal from the assignment.
4. Work Schedule & Attendance
Employees must:
- Arrive on time for all scheduled shifts
- Notify MM Staffing and the Client immediately in case of absence or delay
- Maintain consistent attendance
Unapproved absences or repeated lateness may lead to termination of assignment.
5. Workplace Conduct
Employees are expected to:
- Maintain professional behavior
- Respect workplace policies and safety standards
- Avoid misconduct, harassment, or unsafe actions
MM Staffing reserves the right to remove any employee from an assignment for inappropriate conduct.
6. Health & Safety Compliance
Employees must:
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Report any hazards, incidents, or injuries immediately
Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action.
7. Compensation & Payroll
Employees will be compensated according to agreed wage terms.
Employees must:
- Accurately report hours worked
- Submit timesheets as required
Unauthorized overtime may not be approved or paid unless pre-authorized.
8. Overtime & Breaks
- Overtime must be pre-approved by MM Staffing or the Client
- Employees are entitled to breaks as per applicable labor laws
9. Assignment Duration & Changes
Assignments may be:
- Temporary
- Ongoing
- Project-based
MM Staffing or the Client may:
- Modify job duties
- Adjust schedules
- End assignments at any time
10. No Guarantee of Ongoing Work
Employment assignments are not guaranteed to continue for any specific duration.
MM Staffing does not guarantee:
- Continuous assignments
- Minimum hours
- Future job placements
11. Confidentiality
Employees must not disclose any confidential information related to:
- Client operations
- Business processes
- Trade secrets
This obligation continues after the assignment ends.
12. Use of Client Property
Employees must:
- Use client equipment responsibly
- Return any materials or property upon request
Damage or misuse may result in liability.
13. Drug, Alcohol & Workplace Policies
Employees must comply with all workplace policies, including:
- Drug and alcohol policies
- Zero-tolerance safety rules
Violation may result in immediate termination of assignment.
14. Incident Reporting
Employees must immediately report:
- Workplace injuries
- Safety hazards
- Conflicts or issues
Failure to report incidents may affect eligibility for protections or claims.
15. Termination of Assignment
Assignments may be terminated at any time by:
- MM Staffing
- The Client
- The Employee
Reasons may include:
- Performance issues
- Attendance problems
- Business needs
16. Limitation of Liability
MM Staffing is not responsible for:
- Actions of the Client
- Workplace conditions under Client control
- Indirect damages related to assignments
17. Acknowledgment
By accepting any assignment, the Employee acknowledges and agrees to this Job Terms Policy.
18. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Virginia, United States.
19. Updates to Policy
MM Staffing reserves the right to update this policy at any time.
